Birthday Celebration
"These pictures were taken in October, 1994 at a birthday party we had
at my house for Linda Elmore and for my brother Tommy (their birthdays
are close together)."
Smoky Mountain Jubilee Talent Show
"As a surprise to me, Linda Elmore entered the Spirit and Truth Singers
in a talent contest held at the Smoky Mountain Jubilee theater in
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on November 5, 1994. Linda, Ruby Lea, and I
sang the gospel song 'I Remember the Day'. This was a night of fun
that I will not soon forget. We don't have any pictures from the event,
but here are images that appeared in the theater brochure at that time."
"In between the two services in which the Spirit and Truth Singers
ministered on November 6, 1994,
some of the church members invited us to eat lunch with at their
house. In the first picture, I am sitting with Stewart Slone,
pastor of the Church of God of Prophesy in Petros,
Tennessee. Next, the pastor and his wife stand with the family who
extended us the invitation. Finally, Linda Elmore. The man of this
house gave Ruby Lea his secret recipe for corn bread that became a
favorite at our house!"
Vacation in Myrtle Beach
"In April, 1995, Ruby Lea, Linda, and I went on vacation together in
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This was my first time to visit the
Myrtle Beach area. We all had a great time. Ruby Lea had a great
just time relaxing in the jacuzzi at our hotel, as you can see."
Playing in the Snow
"Sometime around the new year of 1996, a heavy snow was predicted,
and Ruby Lea came to my apartment to wait it out with me. The next
morning, everything was covered! Yes, I did finally get that icicle
knocked down."
